About Our Client

A large organisation based in the Guildford area.

Job Description

To act as the coordinator for all the customer development team activities, this includes:

  • To be the contact for all point of sale queries
  • Meeting venues and action points
  • Day to day requirements
  • Diary management for meetings
  • Day to day admin support for account management team
  • Analysis of sales data and adept at working with numbers

To act as coordinator on key trade shows and congresses:

  • Liaise with Event Manager to deliver efficient organization and logistics requirements
  • Arrange delivery of supporting materials
  • Preparation and management of the stand, together with nominated manager at the event
  • To be point of contact for and liaise with external vendors

Manage, in conjunction with Marketing, POS and racks to ensure it meets all the demands of the sales team:

  • Maintain regular contact with external vendors to ensure standards are maintained and inventory is managed
  • Set up regular stock and ordering systems to anticipate and satisfy demands
  • Ensure the service to external vendors is both timely and efficient
  • Alert relevant people on any shortages and manage speedy replenishment

Manage, in conjunction with Marketing, the production of local sales and marketing materials:

  • Liaise with external agencies
  • Deliver local flyers/transfer order forms
  • Coordinate and manage special projects as requested
  • Support Customer Development Manager(s) in the preparation of sales review meetings, sales team meetings and other presentations
  • Coordinate results from sales activities and process through wholesale customers

The Successful Applicant

Education/ Experience Requirements

  • Basic qualifications include: Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Preferred qualifications include: Bachelor Degree

Expected Areas of Skills

  • Proficient computer skills with the Internet, Lotus Notes and Microsoft office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint - ability to be able to do vlook ups and pivot tables
  • Beneficial to have knowledge of SAP
  • Ability to analyse data
  • Demonstrates strong time management skills and capable of prioritising tasks
