About Our Client

My client is a growing hospitality and catering company based in the Stanmore area, with access to free parking and close public Transport links. Due to recent rapid growth in the wider company they are seeking an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk for this new role.

Job Description

Duties of the role include and are not limited to:

  • Processing invoices
  • Processing BACS and CHAPS payments
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Chasing outstanding debts for a continually growing ledger of customers
  • VAT calculations
  • Escalating Queries where needed
  • Ad hoc duties where required

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for this Sales Ledger Clerk role MUST have the following experience:

  • At least 2 years experience within Sales Ledger
  • Experience chasing debt via telephone and email
  • Sound knowledge of Excel spreadsheets

The role is seeking an individual who is keen to assist with wider accounts and who is confident and comfortable negotiating on the phone.
