Our a client is a well established and reputable company based in Stockport.

Job Description

The successful Sales Ledger Clerk will be responsible for>

  • Credit checking and opening new accounts
  • Checking credit terms on companies on a monthly basis
  • Allocating payments received to customer accounts
  • Taking payments over the phone as required
  • Raising sales invoices as required
  • Raising and issuing 7 day letters, statements etc
  • resolving queries on accounts
  • Relationship management
  • Offering an excellent level of customer care at all times
  • Daily maintenance of customer records, addresses, bank details etc
  • monthly analysis and reporting

The Successful Applicant

The successful Sales Ledger Clerk, will have previous experience of working in a fast paced Sales Ledger role, they wll be happy working to deadlines within company guidelines and procedures and will show excellent attention to detail.
