About Our Client

My client is looking for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis whilst covering maternity leave.

Job Description

  • Maintaining the Sales Ledger
    • Payment reconciliations
    • Refunds and Credit notes
    • Chargebacks
  • Assisting with credit control
  • Manage internal and external customer queries
  • Assisting with month end

The Successful Applicant

  • Prior experience in sales ledger and working in a finance team
  • Proficient in Excel (Pivot tables, lookups)
  • Ability to deliver commitment to continuous improvement in a changing environment
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility for deliverables
  • Good attention to detail
  • A get up and go attitude
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with other departments
  • Ability to work under pressure
