An Independent School based in West London.

Job Description

The Sales Ledger Clerk will manage the entire fee collection process, and work alongside the Bursar on Bursary and Scholarship applications.

Other duties include

  • Managing queries related to fees or other payments.
  • Meeting with parents to discuss overdue fees and difficulties.
  • Preparing debtor reports and managing bad debt.
  • Maintaining sales and fee ledgers.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Sales Ledger Clerk will have excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to deal with sensitive issues relating to fees. Knowledge of basic Sales Ledger and Credit Control procedures are also required as is experience of using accounts software such as Sage.

Exposure in a high volume role with in the Education sector is desired but not essential.

What's on Offer

  • A salary between £25,000 and £30,000 plus benefits such as pension, 30 days holiday and free lunches.
