Job Description

  • Process sales invoices and credit notes from requisitions and e-mail copies as requested.
  • Code invoices accurately from the Sun chart of accounts, including VAT coding.
  • Set up new accounts on Sun system after obtaining online credit references.
  • Reconcile sales invoices to source system where appropriate (eg kinetics and course booker).
  • Prepare journal for paid invoices from conference system for upload to Sun.
  • Allocate Sun credit notes raised to the appropriate invoices.
  • File all documents.
  • Banking. Checking and recording banking from Hotel Reception every morning.
  • Reports. Preparing various reports weekly to areas of the business.
  • Chasing customers for credit card payments, taking payments and recording appropriate
  • Updating excel spread sheets used by Finance department.
  • Assisting with month end duties such as accruals and statements
  • Opening and sorting Post.
  • Adhoc duties as requested by supervisor which may include cover for colleagues.
