My client is a leading business services company based in Birkenhead, they are currently looking to add a Sales Ledger Clerk to their existing accountancy function based in head office. My client has grown due to acquisition, they have a proven track record in there sector and are leading the way.

Job Description

The role of the Sales Ledger Clerk will be:

  • Sales ledger invoicing for multiple sites
  • Maintaining database of clients and customers ensuring all information is up to date
  • Chasing any outstanding debt
  • Investigating and queries and resolving outstanding problems with the operations team
  • Maintaining and recording all transactions relating to the income and accounts receivable
  • Monthly reporting on outstanding debt for senior management
  • Dealing with petty cash and banking

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a candidate who has a positive and determined attitude to work, a candidate with MS Excel and open accounts would be advantageous.

We require a candidate with a proven track as a Sales ledger clerk who is flexible and a team player.
