Our client is a well-known and growing business based in Redhill

Job Description

  • Download the daily bank transactions from HSBC and produce the cash sheets.
  • Cash allocating using daily cash sheets to the correct Banner accounts.
  • Action and produce report on monthly write off/write back request.
  • Validate all customer refund paperwork rejecting and authorising where applicable before creating the entries in the SUN accounting system.
  • Action banner refund entries using the weekly banner refund report.
  • To provide holiday and sickness cover for the update and maintenance of the Cash Book to ensure reconciliation to the Bank account.
  • To answer CQMS queries requested to the Treasury department work list.
  • Ensure recording, posting and daily banking of customer cheques received in the post and review and update the post dated cheque log.
  • Validating & entering of manual invoices into Sun accounting system.
  • Updating of manual and inter-shipper invoices in the Sun Accounting system.
  • Ensure that all Collection/AUDDIS Direct Debit files are sent through to the banking system via Paybase on a daily basis, and to make sure any amendment requests have been action before sending the file.
  • Ensure download of rejected/unpaid Direct Debit reports from BACS, is sent around the Business, and are processed in Banner on a daily basis.
  • Complete the two daily reconciliation cash posting reports.

The Successful Applicant

Experience in a sales ledger or cashier role.

Good working knowledge of Excel.

Computer literate.
