About Our Client

My client is looking for someone who is available at short notice to join their team.

This is a part time role and ideal for someone who wants to work in a lovely environment, for a great business and be a part of a warm and welcoming team.

Job Description

  • Collection of cash by direct debit from customers and posting on to their ledgers.
  • To deal with customer and inter-department enquiries as received.
  • To set up new direct debits in systems and with banks.
  • Review DD amendment, cancellation and unpaid reports daily.
  • To liaise with credit control where DD's have rejected.
  • To liaise with credit control where remittances for payments are missing.
  • To update Onguard workflow system with payment confirmation from remittances received.
  • To maintain incoming bank statements - posting cash to ledgers and banking on a daily basis.
  • Recharging sales invoices/credits.
  • Informing other Departments of incoming payments for Total Losses.
  • To update Management Accounts with details of Incoming cash and Direct Debits processed for cash flow forecasting.

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous record of working in a Finance department or financial environment
  • Good working knowledge of all areas of compliance acts-Financial Services, Data Protection and Money Laundering
  • A good knowledge of company systems and billing processes
  • Administration skills
  • Good analytical ability, together with statistical & mathematical methods
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Computer Literate with intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Excellent communication skills, accuracy & numeracy.
  • Able to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic and resourceful
  • Flexible, proactive, committed & forward thinking.
  • Good keyboard skills
  • A confident telephone manner
