Page Personnel are currently recruiting a Permanent Sales and Customer Service Coordinator to work for a growing business based in Barnsley.

Job Description

The purpose of this role is to own and manage the day to day communications and activity with customers, being their first point of contact.

Main duties will include:

  • Take ownership of issues and work with other departments and the customer to reduce and/or remove the impact.
  • Progress customer requests with internal and external departments and be capable of questioning and challenging where necessary to improve on results.
  • Produce reports, charts and data suitable for the customers' needs on a weekly basis in-line with agreed timescales.
  • Continually review and work to improve processes
  • Engage and embrace the business culture in all aspects of work.
  • Resolving queries within agreed service standards
  • Ensuring systems and documentation are up to date at all times
  • Generate high quality MI and conduct face to face client reviews taking the lead in meetings and writing review packs
  • Take responsibility for individual performance against budgets and targets
  • Managing service failures and complaints at driver and senior contact level
  • Demonstrate customer sensitivities both in terms of individuals and business objectives
  • Uphold the firm's core principals of service, quality and response

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Good administration and numeracy skills
  • Strong Microsoft office skills
  • Good knowledge of the fleet industry
  • Understanding of client service levels
  • Previous experience dealing with customer complaints
  • Highly motivated
  • Strong organisational skills
