Job Description

The Revenue & Pricing Analyst role involves:

  1. Responsible for decisions that drive in excess of $200m in annual net ticket revenue,including monthly forecasts of net ticket revenue, managing price and inventory in order to achieve revenue goals.
  2. Responsible for development and communication of a strategic business plan for each product. This includes determining strategies on pricing, implementation of promotions,global guest sourcing, currency management and maximization of occupancy.
  3. Communicate status of current business environment and strategies regarding assigned products to Sales, Marketing, and other relevant stakeholders.
  4. Contribute to the sourcing forecast, represent the UK market at sourcing calls when needed and communicate outcome and actions to key stakeholders.
  5. With the revenue manager, contribute to the UK market track on all products represents changes in booking trends and accurately reflects year on year changes to product, special events and promotional activity.
  6. Contribute towards internal communications and co-ordination of the UK market's promotional messages through major marketing campaigns. Develop tracking mechanisms to understand performance to aid future decision making.
  7. Develop a strong relationship with Revenue management teams to agree pricing decisions in support of UK marketing activity, support the process through the communication to sales and delivery within the booking engine.
  8. Determine and implement strategic pricing for each category and sailing for all new deployment on strategic product.
  9. Track competitor activity and policies and provide consistent weekly competitor analysis Ensure Fly cruise pricing is consistently competitive in market through relevant competitor monitoring.
  10. Provide guidance on pricing for various marketing collateral.
  11. Ensure adequate availability on promotional lead rates.
  12. Monitoring and improving the mix - Produces reports to track variations
  13. Develops an understanding of distribution and highlights under performance by trade partners on specific product - giving guidance to sales
  14. Risk interface: Analyses mix on relevant product and gateways. Provides guidance to the Planning team for additional sourcing based on volume and price expectations. Works towards eliminating risk through delivery of competitive pricing.
  15. Proactively participates in cross functional initiatives, developmental projects, and facilitates delivery.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for the Revenue & Pricing Analyst role will:

  • have worked in a similar role previously
  • ideally have a numerate degree
  • have Pricing and/or Revenue Analysis experience, or Business /Financial Analysis
  • have advanced Excel skills
