Job Description


  • To self-monitor performance and focus activities to meet targets. Responsible for monitoring KPI's to identify improvements in the process.

Resourcing Strategy

  • Support your manager to develop effective Resourcing operational plans in line with the person specification and clients expectations.
  • Understand the recruitment forecast and execute activity as requested.
  • Knowledge of the latest recruitment and assessment techniques.

Candidate Experience

  • Responsible for correct use of communication methods ensuring tone of voice is appropriate at all levels and through all mediums
  • Understand, monitor and execute best practice for candidate management and implement continuous improvements.

Stakeholder Management

  • Responsible for building relationships with Client Relationship Managers, educate and manage their expectations through the process and support them with their resourcing strategy.
  • Accountable for understanding the people specifications and recruitment plans and ensure they're adhered to through the process.

Candidate Attraction

  • To maintain up to date knowledge of candidate sources and explore them. These may include colleges, universities, candidate referrals, internal referrals or other sources.
  • Accountable for ensuring candidate talent pools are in place across volume or challenging roles, in line with the operational plans.
  • Responsible for researching and recommending appropriate sourcing methods for your area of responsibility.
  • To stay up to date with changes in client organisations, which may prompt candidates to be interested in moving, and making appropriate targeted calls.
  • Accountable for devising a short, medium and long term media plan, embedded within the Recruitment operational plan and initiating contact with the areas of expertise within the business to execute the plan.
  • Dedicate time to understand developments in selection and sourcing methods to drive innovation and productivity within the process.
  • Responsible for working with the social media team to use results from analytics and reporting tools to measure the impact of media activity and drive strategy based on data.
  • Be proficient at using social media platforms for resourcing, namely LinkedIn and Twitter.


  • Plan, implement and measure an appropriate sourcing strategy aligned to the recruitment operational plan to meet KPI's and deadlines.
  • Accountable for designing formal approaches to different types of recruitment needs i.e. campaigns, specialist headhunting and delivering to a high standard.
  • Proactively research key demographics within the sectors being recruited for to implement activity on the right media channel.
  • Develop and deliver assessment and selection processes to make informed choices about candidates based on a full range of information.


  • To follow correct procedures for candidate coding, registration and follow up calls to optimise the likelihood of a successful placement.
  • Keep the database up to date and accurate. To improve the quality of data on the database and create new codes and methods to improve the search efficiency of the system.

  • Responsible for managing all appropriate HR systems and process, ensuring that data integrity is 100% accurate at all times.
  • Understanding of MI relevant to department activity.

Legal / Policy

  • Responsible for understanding employment law and internal policy guides and their impact on recruitment activity
  • Adhere to all recruitment policies to remove bias and prevent discrimination
