Job Description

The successful Rental Executive will deliver exceptional customer service to their rental client base working closely with the company's rental suppliers to provide the best quality service possible.

The daily responsibilities will involve:

  • Processing all reservations received either by telephone or email.
  • To provide prompt confirmation of bookings in compliance with client specific service agreements.
  • To process any changes to reservations accurately.
  • Resolving customer queries and complaints, making detailed notes on customer reservations and updating the customer service databases.
  • Log abortive deliveries and collections on the system and resolve any associated problems.
  • Process and raise credits/invoices and fines accurately on the system.
  • Produce daily reports, confirm customer requirements and extend bookings where necessary.
  • To gain a full understanding and knowledge of all customers.
  • To produce adhoc reports when requested.
  • To arrange changeovers and mileages upon request.
  • To administrate insurance correspondence to customer.
  • To administrate Rental emails and ensure response times are in compliance with client specific SLA's/KPI's.
  • To assist with damage administration for customers and ensure that appropriate correspondence is issued to both customers and suppliers.
  • To handle adhoc requests from clients, Account Managers, Sales or Rental Management.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate must have the following:

  • Excellent telephone technique.
  • Exceptional and strong communication skills
  • Keyboard skills with experience in Excel and Word/General Computer Literacy
  • Letter writing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Accuracy
  • Problem solving
  • Ability to prioritise/manage time
  • Ability to work under own initiative and in a pressurised environment
  • Ability to build professional relationships
