Job Description

Managing, the organisation's relationship with external suppliers of recruitment advertising, including monitoring delivery to specification and managing tendering process for the contract as necessary.

Developing templates, guidance and tools, for managers which enhance the flow of the recruitment process end-to-end, recommending changes to policy and procedures where appropriate.

Continuous review and improvement of processes and procedures for the recruitment and selection cycle, using innovative approaches such as candidate feedback.

Undertake a key role in Right to Work, including DBS, issues and ensure that new appointments are compliant with any UKVI requirements in respect of Immigration and visas.

Managing the daily workload and priorities of the recruitment team, ensuring that Service Level Agreement standards are met, and exceeded where possible.

To assist managers in producing job descriptions, person specifications, job details and advertisements, as appropriate.

Attending interview boards as appropriate.

Using Vacancy Manager to analyse all aspects of recruitment activity, report on KPIs, and inform improvements to process.

Work closely with the Associate Director to control, and where possible reduce, the costs of recruitment.

Supporting the administrators in dealing with queries, from candidates and managers, making and escalating decisions as appropriate.

Checking contracts of employment, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

Monitoring the post-interview process, ensuring that queries and delays are minimised.

Ensure smooth handover of completed employment file to the HR Admin Team.

Working with the members of the senior management team, the HR Business Partners and others in the department to engage in continuous improvement of process and procedures to ensure continued efficient and effective service delivery.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant must:

  • Be educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Have a good knowledge of recruitment and selection processes
  • Have a good understanding of best practice in recruitment
  • Have a good understanding of employment law
  • Have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Be able to communicate confidently at all levels
  • Have a good understanding of immigration recruitment processes
