Job Description

As a Recruitment Consultant you will receive the best training on the market. You will enjoy both centralised multi-disciplined formal training as well as local day to day support from Directors, Managers and Senior Consultants. You will be recruiting Finance staff up to the Part-Qualified level and our salary range is from circa £16,000-£40,000.

You will manage the 360 degree recruitment cycle from sourcing candidates, placing advertisements, building relationships with clients and work on roles all the way through to offer stage. The role will involve a mixture of warm and cold calling.

As a Recruitment Consultant your responsibilities will be varied and may include:

  • Development of relationships with new and existing clients. This is both phone and face to face meetings
  • Meeting candidates and putting together plans with them to help secure a new job
  • Selling solutions - be it advertising, comprehensive recruitment campaigns, etc
  • Ad hoc projects - be it helping to organise a team night out, region wide competitions or similar

The Successful Applicant

Potential Recruitment Consultants must be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong networking and client development abilities
  • Advanced sales and closing techniques on the phone or face to face
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong commercial business acumen
  • A passionate desire to succeed and build a successful career
  • Excellent communication & influencing skills
  • You will have worked in a target driven sales role
  • Having worked in recruitment would certainly be advantageous
  • You will be a team player with a positive can do attitude
  • Someone who is looking for a long term career
  • Degree preferable
