Job Description

Our client is a small accountancy firm looking to recruit a Receptionist/Administration Assistant. Reporting to the Operations Director and based at Front of House Reception you will assist with marketing and administration duties. Duties include:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Answering the phone, directing calls, taking messages
  • Making sure each visitor signs in to the Visitor Book
  • Booking meetings
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Organising catering for lunches
  • Making sure meeting rooms are maintained and tidy
  • Booking restaurants for client lunches
  • Arrange Boardroom lunches, networking events and seminars
  • Booking travel arrangements - train tickets, couriers
  • Maintain the staff location sheet
  • Update the CRM database
  • Create mail merges
  • Send mass mailshots to clients/contacts
  • Ensure timely execution of marketing campaigns
  • Update the company website
  • Every quarter, send the company's newsletter to clients
  • Maintain the company's Twitter and LinkedIn accounts
  • Preparing PowerPoint slides for presentations
  • Take minutes in meeting once a month

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Have previously worked as a Receptionist
  • Have excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to produce a PowerPoint presentations
  • Be able to take minutes in meetings
  • Have previously used Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Have excellent organisational, time management, and multi tasking skills
  • Be able to create a mail merge
  • Be a good team player
  • Good IT skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

What's on Offer

On offer is a salary of £26,000 - £30,000 + benefits package. Hours Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30
