About Our Client

Based in Flintshire this is great opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger clerk to join a leading organisation, who have just moved into brand new purpose built modern offices. They require the extra resource due to expansion of the business.

Job Description

The role of the purchase ledger clerk:

  • Scanning and validating of all invoice types (PO, Non PO and Freight)
  • Processing and posting all invoices
  • Checking invoices to orders and querying, where necessary, prices, arithmetic etc., and following up with Company departments for missing information
  • Filing of scanned and validated invoices
  • Processing month end inter-company debit/credit notes
  • Checking supplier's statements and reconciling supplier's accounts
  • Answering telephone enquiries
  • Resolving supplier problems and queries
  • Dealing with other offices and personnel in UK
  • Sorting and distributing the Finance post

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for candidate who has:

  • At least two years' experience working with Purchase Ledger
  • Numerate and detail orientated
  • Highly organised, thorough and accurate
  • IT Literate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective team player
