About Our Client
The client is a very successful Leisure, Travel & Tourism Organisation with a Head Office based in York. They have a fantastic accounts team and are now looking for an Purchase Ledger Supervisor to lead the department.
As a Purchase Ledger Supervisor, you will be reporting into the Finance Manager, your duties will include, however are not limited to: Responsibility for overseeing the processing of supplier accounts, ensuring that invoices are entered accurately, on a timely basis and paid to company terms, Ensuring that all accounts are completed and reconciled by the accounting deadline and that month-end accruals are below the minimum pre-agreed levels, to supervise the purchase ledger team ensuring accurate and timely processing achieving all set deadlines.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will:
- Have supervised a team previously - Essential
- Have excellent accounts payable knowledge - Essential
- Have conducted 1-2-1's and appraisals previously - Essential
