My client is a large, successful and forward thinking business.

Job Description

This role reports to the Supplier Accounts Manager. Duties include:-

* Responsible for the high performance of a team - general people management including day to day workload of your team, coaching and supporting as required, performance management, absence management and recruitment

* Responsible for overseeing all weekly / monthly and adhoc payment runs to vendors including understanding any variances to foretasted payments

* Responsible for working capital forecasting including the creation of vendor level monthly forecasts working alongside the bank team

* Ensuring policy and procedures are in place and followed in respects to vendor management

* Leading the vendor management processes within the department

* Responsible for a number of central balance sheets - the month end reconciliation together with follow up of any issues raised

* Responsible for MI production and analysis

* Supporting the wider finance team in creation and delivery against departmental business plans

The Successful Applicant

The successful will have the following attributes:-

  • Immediately available/short notice
  • Proven experience working with SAP
  • Able to commit to a 9 month FTC
  • Experience supervising staff
  • Proven experience in Vendor Support/Accounts Payable
  • Excel skills - pivot tables/Vlookups
