Job Description

As a Purchase Ledger Supervisor you will be reporting into the Finance Manager. Your duties will include but are not limited to: Oversee the purchase ledger team and monitor the workload, deputise for the Accounts Manager in their absence, deal with supplier queries for the larger group suppliers, assist the Accounts Manager with approving bank wire payments, maintain the monthly cheque spread sheets, oversee the Group credit card process, run team meetings for the purchase ledger team, assist with month end cheque and BACS runs and lead the monthly review of purchase ledgers, escalating the issues as appropriate and lead the training and development any new accounts employees.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have managed a team previously - Essential
  • Have a strong knowledge of the accounts payable function - Essential
  • Have a high level of accuracy - Essential
  • Have dealt with high volumes - Essential
