UK's largest dealership for the brand in which they operate. Looking after the entire UK function's Accounts Payable.

Job Description

  • To manage all the Group's Purchase Ledgers keeping them all up to date and well maintained.
  • Work closely with all the Hub Accounts Teams to ensure good relations, good purchase ledger working practices and procedures are adhered to and all deadlines are met accordingly as agreed.
  • Build good relationships with all the Managers per Dealership. Work with them to assist with any supplier changes, supplier procedure implementation and the efficient work flow of their Purchase Invoices and resolve all queries quickly and effectively.
  • Collate and control all the purchase invoices for all the Dealerships in an organised method to ensure all invoices get registered, scanned and sent to the correct Authoriser.
  • Adhere to and enforce our Purchase Order number procedures.
  • Run daily reports to identify purchase invoices that have been authorised. Collate these invoices and process for nominal coding and approving on the system ready for payment.
  • Run daily reports to identify purchase invoices that have still not been authorised. Identify those overdue and chase the relevant Managers and request prompt authorisation.
  • Ensure that purchase invoice filing is effective and up to date on a daily basis.
  • Statement reconciliation to be done for all payments. Chase suppliers for statements when required and ensure that the Statement filing is effective and up to date.
  • Process payment runs when requested or to the monthly schedule and ensure all remittances are sent out.
  • Deal with all suppliers enquires effectively and professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Group Purchasing Manager with implementing new Suppliers, new procedures and processes.
  • Keep the office tidy and well maintained on a daily basis.
  • Attend to any ad hoc administration duties when requested.
