This innovative well established transport and distribution company have a number of sites across the UK and are market leaders within their field. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the finance function in Leeds.

Job Description

The successful Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for; but not limited to: account reconciliations, dealing with dispute resolutions, actioning any necessary invoice requests, reviewing supplier invoices, processing supplier invoices, reviewing and rectify invoice disputes, supplier statement reconciliations, call suppliers and chase outstanding/missing invoices, other ad hoc duties as required.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience within an accounts position - Essential
  • Strong communication skills - Essential
  • Knowledge of Sage - Desirable
  • Good knowledge of Excel - Essential
