My client is a highly successful and established business who following a period of growth are now seeking a new Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their fun and fast paced finance function. The client offers a superb supportive working environment and great progression opportunities.

Job Description

The Purchase Ledger Clerk role includes a variety of duties including:

  • Process all invoices (circa 1000 monthly) in line with deadlines, targets and as directed by your line manager.100% accurate processing of financial documents and associated transactions effectively and efficiently

  • Reconcile and administer company car fuel card program

  • Administer company mobile phone contracts including ordering new handsets

  • Resolve all queries within set KPIs, SLAs or as directed by your line manager

  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure effective management of incoming queries

  • Process and review Expenses claims to ensure they are in line with the company policy

  • Immediately highlight to your line manager any areas where significant exposures could potentially adversely affect the business

The Successful Applicant

You will have previous exposure to a finance processing role and ideally have some exposure to working within Purchase Ledger (1 year min). You will be confident in your communications and will be comfortable using Ms Office packages including Excel.
