About Our Client

This award winning innovative manufacturing organisation has a number of sites throughout the UK and their head office is based in South Leeds. They are market leaders within their field and a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy finance team based in South Leeds.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Looking after AP inbox (printing out invoices / credit notes / statements,
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Processing high volumes of invoices
  • Matching to POs/Receipts and manual coding
  • Statement reconciliation
  • Liaise internally in order to solve any issues
  • Follow procedures to obtain authorisation for manual invoices
  • Prepare BACS payments

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience of purchase ledger - Essential
  • Have previous knowledge of Sage - Desirable
  • Have excellent communication skills - Essential
  • Have a good knowledge of MS Excel - Desirable
