Job Description

  • Completing credit applications from potential suppliers and checking terms and conditions are acceptable
  • Ensure purchase orders have followed the necessary procedures in order for them to be matched to the invoices which are received at Sevenoaks
  • Reconcile supplier statements when received and action any queries
  • Responsible for addressing all invoice queries at earliest opportunity and keeping
  • detailed records within a restricted time frame
  • Assist with payment runs ensuring that the payment processing timetable is adhered to
  • Adhere to month end and year end requirements
  • Ensure the accuracy of the filing and archiving system to allow easy retrieval of documents
  • Ad hoc analysis of nominal ledger codes
  • Other ad hoc duties could also involve post, answering phone calls, dealing with visitors, assisting directors, general office maintenance
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
