Job Description

Reporting to the head of accounts your duties as the purchase ledger clerk will include:

  • Matching, coding and entering purchase invoices onto system
  • Ensuring invoices are correct and ensuring correct VAT treatment
  • Reconciling supplier statements and ledgers
  • Preparing BACS payments
  • Regular liaison with stakeholders for necessary sign off of invoices
  • Monitoring accounts payable
  • Other ad hoc duties as required
