About Our Client

This National client based in North Liverpool are looking to take on a new purchase ledger clerk to join the accountancy team to take ownership of the ledger for a period of 6-9 month.

This company have seen massive growth over the past 2 years due to a increase in sales and so there may be opportunities in the future for this role to become permanent.

Job Description

Reporting into the Finance Manager the purchase ledger clerk will be responsible for:

  • Processing high volume invoices
  • Matching, batching and coding purchase invoices
  • Dealing with high volume supplier queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Payment runs
  • Ad hoc reporting at month end.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be from a strong purchase ledger background and be able to manage a full ledger with minimal supervision.
