About Our Client

My client is a large, progressive and forward thinking organisation in Derby city centre. The finance function is large, and there are a wealth of opportunities to progress in the organisation.

Job Description

The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be working in a team of 5 Purchase Ledger Clerks. As a team, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

  • Scanning invoices
  • Processing PO numbers
  • Process invoices, credit notes and expense claims
  • Prepare VAT exemption forms
  • Handling queries relating to the invoices
  • Maintaining invoice information on the systems
  • Check payments have been authorised

The Successful Applicant

I am keen to hear from a range of individuals e.g.

  • those have no experience of working in finance, but have a clear desire to work in finance
  • those who have studied accounting and finance at university
  • those who have studied, or are studying AAT

What's on Offer

This is a permanent opportunity, which is paying between £15,000 and £16,000.
