About Our Client

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation in West Kent as Purchase Ledger Clerk.

Job Description

  • Inputting of purchase ledger invoice onto the processing system.
  • matching of invoices against purchase orders & delivery tickets.
  • Investigating & questioning variances between invoices and purchase orders.
  • Ensuring costs are authorised in line with signing authority matrix.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and ensuring ledger position is accurate.
  • Filing invoices in an orderly manner.
  • Liaising with the commercial department to review orders & chase outstanding issues.
  • Ensuring supplier accounts are up to date in time for payruns.
  • Ad hoc tasks as and when required.

The Successful Applicant

  • IT skills - competent with Microsoft office - Excel, Outlook, Word.
  • Teamwork.
  • Communication skills.
  • Organised working manner.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrates ability to prioritise.
