My client is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger clerk to join their finance team in Coventry.

Job Description

  • Code and check invoice
  • Work out VAT payments
  • Pay out money via BACS or by cheque
  • Check and reconcile supplier statements
  • File invoices and statements
  • Deal with purchase enquiries
  • Process staff expenses
  • Controlling and maintaining the Purchase Ledger function Matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Liaising with suppliers and being the first point of contact with invoice queries
  • Preparing and executing payment runs
  • Various ad hoc financial duties

The Successful Applicant

Previous experience is essential

Good communicator


Strong Excel skills - pivot tables, vlooksups
