About Our Client

I am currently recruiting for an Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an established Milton Keynes based business who are currently experiencing significant growth and development!

Job Description

Key duties include assisting with:

  • Obtaining invoices from suppliers and scanning to sites to ensure that all items are processed on a correct and timely basis
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts, identifying and resolving queries
  • Payment routines ensuring that they are generated and controlled in line with company procedures
  • Assisting in running period end reports
  • Assisting in the implementation of new systems re: invoice processing at sites and electronic interfaces with suppliers
  • Providing cover for other areas of the team as necessary

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have / be:

  • Previous experience working in Accounts Payable
  • Strong Excel reporting skills & analytical mind set
  • Confident in communicating at all business levels, including; non finance
