About Our Client

An exciting well known company requires a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their vibrant finance team on a permanent basis.

Job Description

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be reporting into the Purchase Ledger Manager. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Liaising with other departments and providing necessary information to ensure smooth processing of invoices, matching paperwork for invoice approval ensuring everything matched and is accurate. Raising debit noted for discrepancies, Purchase Ledger maintenance and payment processing. Liaising with suppliers, maintaining supplier retro analysis and ensuring all debit notes are raised, posted and communicated. Working closes with the Accounts manager, assisting with month end reports.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

- Have excellent communication skills both verbally and written - Essential

- Be organised and methodical - Essential

- Have a good background with using systems such as Excel and Sage 200 - Essential

- Have a working background within the Purchase Ledger role - Essential
