Job Description

The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for managing all aspects of purchase ledger. Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • processing and verifying amounts and documents
  • processing payment
  • resolve payment process issues
  • process cash disbursements, including cheques
  • ensure proper authorisation of payment requests
  • ensure compliance with internal and external policies, procedures and regulations

The Successful Applicant

To apply for this role, you must have accounts payable experience in the public sector (NHS, local authority, charities etc...) and be available to start work in the New Year. You will ideally have had exposure to working on Oracle.

What's on Offer

This is initially a temporary role, but subject to performance, will become a permanent position. It is initially paying an hourly rate between £9 and £12 per hour.
