About Our Client

Our client a highly successful international business based in Woking, Surrey are currently recruiting for a new Purchase Ledger Assistant to join the team.

Job Description

  • Processing all purchase invoices for the business
  • Resolving any purchase ledger queries and supplier enquiries in a timely manner
  • Preparation of mid-month and month end BACS payments and distribution of remittances
  • Preparation of one-off supplier payments
  • Month end accruals of purchase invoices not processed and awaiting authorisation
  • Month end supplier statement accruals
  • Accurately matching POs to invoices
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Ensuring Aged Creditors are maintained and accurate
  • Posting of bank payments and bank reconciliations
  • Assist other members of the Finance team to meet deadlines
  • Ad hoc financial duties as requested

The Successful Applicant

  • Purchase ledger experience ideally but it doesn't need to be extensive
  • Confident using Excel
  • Experience using SUN System would be advantageous but not essential
  • Strong Communication skills able to deal with queries
  • Outgoing and professional personality
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
