Job Description

  • Provide support to the Project Manager and Project Sponsor in planning, managing and monitoring upcoming projects from concepts through to implementation
  • Organise facilitated workshops to identify, agree and sign-off business requirements
  • Conduct, document and communicate business assessment reviews and walkthroughs of new system processes
  • Co-ordinate gathering, analysing and summarising of data and information from the business areas
  • Provide support to the departments by gathering and analysing data in the establishment and/or maintenance of business processes, procedures and policies
  • Prepare Analysis Reports from functional and non-functional business workshops
  • Work with Project Specialists, Stakeholders and team members to report on project tasks and keep projects on track
  • Derive test plans, test scripts and organise UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
  • Document test failures and other results and communicate to third party developers and other team members
  • Support business users during UAT and resolve any functional issues with new system rollout
  • Prepare presentation materials for management reports for Project Sponsor and Project Manager
  • Work on overall project planning through reporting on projects schedules, activities and deliverables
  • Support the project team in a variety of needs as required by the Project Manager.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualified, preferably in a related field
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of project support and analysis, project management experience and testing, preferably with retail system and/or e-Commerce projects
  • Considered experienced in all phases of the project management lifecycle with a focus on requirements gathering, analysis, project planning, project schedule development, project change control, issue and risk practices and project documentation control
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, OneNote, Powerpoint, etc.,)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • A background in retail systems would be very advantageous
