About Our Client

Our client, a large, reputable organisation are looking for an immediately available Project Manager to join their team on a temporary basis

Job Description

The duties of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to:-

  • To offer a high level of input to projects, based on a high level of experience and knowledge
  • The role does not require any overall management responsibilities towards the team, but will involve responsibilities over and above the day to day requirements.
  • Planning - Clearly detail and manage the timeline with the Account Director (client) to ensure all projects are correctly mapped out and resourced at the right points.
  • Resource Management - Work with Studio Manager to manage resourcing for projects, highlight potential resource issues and collaborate with planning functions.
  • Production
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive file management understanding.
  • Drive the production team to deliver to deadline and to the brief at every level.
  • Ensure that quality targets are established and met.
  • Ensure that all specified materials are accurate, in line with our approved materials, are achievable and that health and safety criteria are met, where appropriate.
  • Make sure that all projects are understood to the highest degree. Ensure that print specs, assets and delivery times for the job are supplied to the artwork studio for purpose.
  • Processes - Ensure that each project is correctly managed and that full and appropriate approval is achieved before jobs are released for production. Ensure all projects follow company processes driven by other departments within this business. This includes supplier management and legal and IP processes.
  • Supplier Management - Obtain appropriate quotes for projects and communicate out to stakeholders.
  • Manage Supplier relationships, including deadlines, delivery and quality issues, working alongside the Manager.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for the role of Project Manager will possess the following:-

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience managing a print/design studio preferable.
  • Experience in working and leading cross-functional teams

  • Strong track record of project delivery

  • Product knowledge

  • Print Production knowledge

  • Communication skills

  • Planning/scheduling skills

  • Organisational skills

  • Negotiation skills

  • Foundation knowledge of Adobe software

  • Competent Censhare knowledge or similar asset database/approval system preferable

  • Competent skill level in Microsoft applications

  • Ability to manage a high volume of briefs including large complex projects
