About Our Client

Our client, a healthcare company are looking for a Procurement Administrator to join their team on an immediate basis. There is great potential for this role to be made permanent.

Job Description

The duties of the Procurement Administrator include, but are not limited to:-

  • General administrative duties

  • Ordering stock items as and when required

  • Counting and ordering stock using approved systems

  • Inputting data

  • Uploading, processing and communicating the data promptly to the appropriate supplier

  • When products are out of stock, identify alternate suppliers and know when to seek advice from more senior staff regarding sourcing of alternate products

  • Monitor existing orders and keep departments updated on expected arrival date
  • Ensure all goods are delivered to correct departments and stored appropriately.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for the role of Procurement Administrator will possess the following:-

  • Strong administration skills (essential)
  • Good communication skills (essential)
  • Able to meet deadlines and work well within a team (essential)
  • Experience of working within a store/provisioning environment (desirable)
