About Our Client

The client is a reputable Law Firm based in the heart of London. You will be based in a very impressive building, in the first floor print room.

Job Description

Ensure smooth running and coordination of the print solutions function within the print room, including problem solving and direct liaison with internal & external clients.

Duties include:

§ Controlling workflow, including delegation of work to team members ensuring deadlines are met and SLAs are monitored and adhered to. Ensuring that the 'book in/book out' process and recording of work is correctly followed.

§ Negotiating deadlines with clients updating clients on work progress, delays or alterations to production ensuring job details are correct.

§ Produce weekly/monthly reporting/statistics as required by the Print Room Team Leader.

§ Report and escalate any resourcing issues/needs to Print Room Team Leader.

§ Ensuring that print solutions equipment is fully stocked and adequate levels of consumables, ie: paper, binding wires, dividers, etc. are maintained, reporting concerns/issues to Print Room Team Leader.

§ Complete a detailed handover for Night Shift, ensuring equipment capacity and productivity is maximised.

§ Work alongside the Print Room Team Leader to identify training needs within the Print Solutions night shift team. Present updates to the team.

§ Provide informed feedback to the Print Room Team Leader on individual performance within the team for annual appraisal process.

§ Monitor the upkeep of print solutions machinery on the night shift, reporting any faults/concerns to whilst keeping Office Services Team Leader Print Room Team Leader informed of progress.

§ Ensuring all billable work is charged back.

§ Reconcile all offsite overflow invoices

§ Act as the main point of contact for general feedback/complaints regarding service on the night shift and escalate to Office Services Team Leader/Print Room Team Leader where appropriate.

§ High volume copying, batch printing, E-bibles, collating and binding of legal documents, copying and colouring legal plans and CD/DVD's.

The Successful Applicant

The candidate must:

  • Have strong experience in a reprographics role
  • Have experience of managing others workflows in a team, including delegating work, managing time frames and supporting staff with training as needed
  • Be available to work the hours 4.30pm - 12.30am, 35 hours a week.
