About Our Client

The client is a reputable Law Firm based in the City. You will be based on a first floor print room in a very impressive building. There will be parking available for you.

Job Description

Duties include:

  • Producing E-bibles
  • High volume copying, digital print, collating and binding of legal documents, wide format printing, production of CD/DVD's
  • Direct E-bibles and CD/DVD work to the E-bible bay
  • Batch and bulk attachment printing using Law 5 software
  • Produce high quality saddle stitched booklets / brochures
  • Manage print overflow, liaise directly with third party service providers in accordance to site procedures
  • Negotiate and renegotiate print deadlines, to proactively manage client expectations
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and third party service providers
  • Binding / finishing documents for internal and external issue and for presentations
  • Ensuring all documents are quality checked and returned within customer-specified timescales
  • Stock control and ordering of stationery for the Print Room
  • Quality control
  • Liaise with post room providing a detailed handover for completed work needing to be delivered
  • Provision of detailed accounts information to the Print Room Team Leader/Finance department
  • Accurately record work profile using the job log spreadsheet, produce end of month figures
  • Complete accurate handover notes at the end of each shift
  • Monitor and record machine down time, complete wastage log.
  • Liaise directly with the on site engineer and report machine errors and down time for out of hours service calls.
  • To undertake other duties as may be requested by the Team Leader or Assistant Facilities Manager outside of the Print Room but within the Facilities department, including floor moves.

The Successful Applicant

The candidate must :

  • Have experience in reprographic duties, including the use of E-bibles
  • Have strong IT skills, including software such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Law 5 etc.
  • Be used to client facing environments with a personable nature
  • Be available for the working hours of 10pm-8am, Monday to Saturday (35 hour week, 2 days off)
