About Our Client

A property development business based in Piccadilly Circus

Job Description

New Business Proposals:

  • To prepare detailed cost budget modelling based on multiple cost drivers including services, size of scheme, facilities and location.
  • To produce detailed and summary level cost breakdowns and benchmark and explain variation against existing operating asset costs and other proposals for accuracy.
  • To ensure proposal templates and all supporting documents that support the bidding process are current and relevant.
  • To undertake research on the local student market, universities, amenities and other relevant factors as part of the new business bidding process.
  • To research and compile rent comparison reports for each site.
  • To manage the request for information process for bids.
  • To manage the internal handover of information on successful bids.

Client Relations:

  • To deal with any Client enquires and calls in a professional manner.
  • To build and maintain Client relationships including liaising direct with Clients and providing ad hoc reports/information.
  • To chase up outstanding and overdue Client enquiries.


  • To update and manage the New Business Register.
  • To manage and maintain the New Business Folder, including version control.
  • To assist with preparing for Client meetings including the population of a suite of documents to ensure a consistent approach across the board.
  • To assist with corporate presentations, ensuring consistency of information.
  • To carry out internal and external benchmarking exercises, including tracking B2B competitors.
  • Attend site visits as required.
  • To ensure Key Facts are updated and any New Business updates are posted on the Intranet.

  • Highly numerate and analytical
  • Methodical and logical approach
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills including the ability to maintain, modify and develop models
