About Our Client

My client is a well known Media Company that is looking for a Payroller to join a team of 3, they are a growing company and constantly taking on new clients, so there is a lot of progression within the company.

Job Description

Processing and running the monthly employee (2000 employees + 50 client payrolls) and pensioner payrolls including the administration of new starters, leavers, promotions, salary increases, bonuses, SSP and OSP, SMP and production of P45s and P60s
* Answering and resolving payroll queries from employees, managers and external bodies
* Managing annual processes including P11D processing and year end processing - submitting all relevant documentation / payments within HMRC timeframes
* Running monthly management reports and monthly payroll sign off reports
* Ensure all necessary monthly payments are made within deadlines (PAYE, pension contributions, and BACS salary payments)
* Ensuring current payroll legislation knowledge is up to date and payroll procedures (both hardcopy and electronic held within the intranet) are updated accordingly

The Successful Applicant

  • 2 years payroll experience
  • Desirable - client payroll or shared services experience
  • Excel - Pivot tables & V look ups
  • Studying CIPP or looking to
