A large accountancy practice in St. Albans, specialising in a range of services including tax advisory, payroll & corporate finance.

Job Description

Working in Payroll, your duties will include:

  • Processing of monthly, weekly, 4 weekly and quarterly payrolls
  • Working within a team environment and building strong relationships with the clients
  • Dealing with all aspects of the payroll process
  • High volume of weekly time sheets

The Successful Applicant

The successful Payroll employee will have:

  • Previous experience in a payroll position
  • Experience using SAGE or similar payroll programmes
  • Good communication skills
  • Detail oriented, thorough and focused on all aspects of the job to ensure accuracy
  • Maintains effective performance under pressure
  • Experience in an accountancy practice (desirable)
