About Our Client

My client is a well established company based in Reading that is experiencing exponential growth and as such has a large Payroll team with fantastic future prospects.

Job Description

The Payroll Team-Leader will support the manager with the smooth running of the payroll and taking the lead on decision-making across the group. Duties will include the following:

  • Ensure all payrolls are paid accurately and on time and that all HMRC requirements are met
  • Manage modified payroll including support for expat employees
  • Produce monthly payroll MI
  • Provide data as requested by internal and external auditors
  • Lead and develop the payroll team
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient annual salary review process is completed within the given timescales, engaging with stakeholders to support them throughout the process
  • Responsible for pension scheme administration for both Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit schemes.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this position you must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Proven track record in a similar senior payroll position
  • Knowledge of multinational payroll operations
  • In-depth understanding of payroll legislation
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with senior management
