About Our Client

This business is one of the UK's leading business services company's, they have multiple offices across the UK and have won numerous business awards.

Their Head Office is based just outside Leeds City Centre, and they are now looking to recruit a Payroll Officer to join their growing finance team.

Job Description

The role of Payroll Officer will include:

  • Processing weekly payroll for over 400 employees
  • Processing monthly payroll for around 100 employees
  • Responding to queries from employees
  • Managing deductions for 2 pension schemes
  • Administering month end and creating P60s
  • Administering P11Ds
  • PAYE payments
  • Attachment of Earnings
  • Completing payroll journal, including pension information
  • Assist with transition to new payroll system
  • Ad-hoc reporting as required

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience of payroll processing - Essential
  • Have a good knowledge of MS Excel & report writing - Desirable
  • Have excellent attention to detail - Essential
  • Have strong influencing skills and ability to build credibility quickly - Essential
