Having 5 direct reports you will be responsible for providing effective leadership and direction to the team.
Encouraging a high performance environment, identifying opportunities for improvement of service.
Identify areas of process improvement
Managing legal compliance
Ensuring everything is in line with payroll legislation
Ensure adequate controls and in place and adhered to
Build and maintain relationships with other business functions including HR, Finance, supply chain etc.
Develop effective reporting systems
Be identified as payroll subject matter expert, solving complex issues
End to end payroll process including starters, leavers SSP, SMP etc.
Experience in P11D's
The Successful Applicant
Available to begin role Mid October
CIPD qualification or equivalent
SAP experience is preferential
Proven track record in mentoring, coaching and training
Great communication skills
Strong analytical skill
