About Our Client

Our Client is one of the fastest growing companies in the UK and as such have rapidly growing payroll.

Job Description

As a Payroll Manager your duties will include however not be limited to; advising internal clients on payroll issues as first point of contact for enquiries, reviewing payroll prior to sign off, highlighting anomalies and investigating discrepancies, completing month end procedures and submission of Tax and NI Sending BACS payments as required, year-end processing of P11d's, P35 and P60's, balancing and reconciling payroll, managing the payroll team to ensure deadlines are met and payroll is processed accurately; set targets, complete appraisals, and manage recruitment.

  • To manage the accurate and timely monthly payments to third parties including PAYE, the University pension schemes, court orders and voluntary deductions.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous working knowledge as a Payroll Manager - essential
  • Have managed a team
  • Have excellent communication skills - essential
  • Have excellent Excel skills - essential
  • Have had experience working with employees on different salary packages, overtime rates etc
