About Our Client

Due to a period of growth my clients is looking to add a Payroll Clerk to there team. My Client is a well established accountancy practice based in central Chester.

Job Description

The role of the payroll clerk will be:

  • Deal with the full cycle of payroll from preparation through to processing of BACs payments
  • Calculating and processing weekly hours in Excel
  • Maintaining absence recording
  • Ensure that payroll data is accurate and maintained in accordance with Company processes and procedures
  • Processing of information to and from HMRC
  • Electronic filing of P45's and P46's, completing monthly RTI reporting to HMRC
  • Assistance with year-end processing, production of P60's and other HMRC related matters
  • Liaison with external customers such as HMRC, DWP, Courts and also internal departments

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a candidate who is used to working under tight deadlines with previous bureau experience.
