About Our Client
A highly reputable Accountancy Practice based in Stockport.
As a Payroll Clerk, you will be reporting into the Payroll Manager, responsible for managing your own portfolio of client payrolls and assisting other team members during busy periods.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: processing client payrolls; updating BACS agreements; keeping up to date with payroll legislation; operation of RTI submissions; manual calculations for Tax, NI, SMP, SSP.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will:
- Have recent knowledge of working in a payroll position - Essential
- Have recent knowledge of working in an Accountancy practice/bureau environment - Essential
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential
