About Our Client

Our client are urgently seeking a Payroll Assistant to join the team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Job Description

The main duties for this position will include;

  • Ensuring that ESR processes are actioned as per timetable
  • Processing the end to end Payroll function
  • Process reports for clients within the required timeframe and within KPI's
  • Process the BACs for weekly and monthly pay periods
  • Action and create adhoc reports as and when required
  • Deliver good customer service

The Successful Applicant

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Use of a PC for a significant part of the day
  • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a wider team
  • Excellent team working skills with the ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with colleagues
  • Ability to organise and plan own work and work on own initiative
  • Demonstration of the ability to work under sustained pressure and to tight deadlines
  • A flexible, pro-active approach to work including the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise to achieve successful outcomes
  • Excellent IT skills including working knowledge of spreadsheets preferably Microsoft Office Excel
