Job Description

Payroll Administrator

  • Responsible for all aspects of Payroll in a sole capacity
  • Importing hours worked by weekly and fortnightly paid store staff
  • Processing payroll for weekly, fortnightly and monthly paid employees (starters, leavers, personal and contractual change, holiday pay), adhering to tight deadlines and dealing with queries.
  • Weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll reconciliations of PAYE & NIC
  • Preparing all 3rd party payments (HMRC, Court orders, Pension administrators etc) To be fully conversant with SSP, SMP, SAP, SPP, student loans, PAYE and NIC.
  • Assist Area Coaches in reviewing labour costs.
  • Production of Labour reports.
  • Ensuring that we comply with UK immigration rules for ID and work permits.
  • Dealing with external enquiries from HMRC, DSS/benefits, mortgages, copy payslips & P60 and confirmation of employment letters.
  • Ad hoc payroll duties
  • HR admin duties
